The Internet Is Ruining Your Brain.


Doesn't multitasking have its advantages, such as that it exercises the brain? According to this article written on mashable, it does not. With all the tabs opened on our internet browser (email, youtube, facebook, twitter, etc) it actually raises stress levels and lowers creative thinking.

Here are some startling statistics pulled off the site:

- Heavy internet users are 2.5 times more likely to be depressed

- Web addiction reduces the white matter in our brains (white matter are transmitters responsible for our memory and sensory abilities)
