Best Practices for helping managers become more consistent communicators

One of the posts in this communication blog identifies some ideal tools to help managers become consistent communicators. Elizabeth Castro expresses her experience with one of her best bosses and how they were an effective communicator. This helps let the employees know where they stand and also makes the employees feel comfortable with approaching you as a manager.
“Our goal was to get employees to start looking at their managers as a source of information and ensure that managers were “in the know” so they could deliver those messages and answer tough questions.” I found this quote from the article to be a very useful tip because as of now, the manager in my workplace does not provide themselves as a source of information. Although he is a source of information he tends to be a not very approachable person. This attitude brings down the work environment and does not promote a fun and highly communicative work environment.
I hope the tips from this blog will benefit your future careers and you will take them into consideration!
