Certain news has shown the 8.6 and 8.2 earthquakes that have hit Indonesia which has given the country a share about maybe Tsunami hitting the country but the article on CBC’s website indicates the U.S based warning center says there will be no Tsunami hitting the country. This is a very scary thought because we have heard a lot of rumors over time not that Vancouver will be hit up a large earthquake which makes me really think. As mentioned in the article Individuals from the country are very scared about Tsunamis because of the events that happened in 2004 that are still fresh in the minds of some survivors.
As the article states that aftershocks could last for months and can be felt by neighboring countries. This is a very scary taught because of the earthquakes that have been happening around the world. Tourist is being advised not to go to certain location and flights are now being closed.
