Androids dominate the US market share

Google's Android phones have boomed more than most anticipated in the last year. Recent stats have been released regarding the US smartphone market share and they have concluded that the Android now holds 50.1% of the market as of February 2012. That is an increase of 3.2% since November 2011, and an increase of 17% since February 2011. Apple holds a strong second position with 30.2% of the market share, an increase of 1.5% from November to February. However, RIM decreased by 3.2% to sit at 13.4% and Microsoft also declined by 2% as well sitting at 3.9%. Will the Android continue to dominate the smartphone market and grow further or will it start to diminish as people experiment with other smartphones because they've grown bored of Androids? I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
