Ten Tips for the Intercultural Leader
1) Start learning about cultures of different people you deal with from scratch, don’t make any guess.
2) Learn about cultures at higher level by reading a book.
3) Take training from the experts
4) Attend other cultures events, talk to different people.
5) Slow down, listen and pay close attention.
6) Do not speak fast and confirm that the receiver has understood your message.
7) Learn to accept the unknowns.
8) Be patient
9) Think about your progress on regular basis and revise as needed.
10) Say sorry for your mistake. Ask for help.
