Knowing your audience

Hi all,

Whenever a speaker wants to be heard they need to prepare well in advance. They need to know their audience especially if the speaker wants to persuade their audience to action. If the speakers wants to connect and push people to action, the speaker needs to the knowledge level, interest, and concerns of the group they are speaking to. This especially comes to mind recently with the Kony2012 that others have blogged about and the video has gone viral. The Jason Russell has been working on this project for quite sometime now, no one really knew about Kony, but Jason researched his audience very well, he knew people cared if they saw what was happening, and he is calling them to action.
