Based on Cressey, the figure below shows the
three reasons of committing fraud.
As business students, professionals and future
professionals, I think that learning this theory is important for the reason
that fraud is rampant in today’s generation.
The recent frauds that occurred this April in BC are
the following:
· “Former notary public in Vancouver masterminded a Ponzi scheme that raised $83-million from 218 investors”
· “Burnaby couple has been charged with multiple
fraud-related [such as credit card frauds and Identity theft]”
